Universal Credit - Electronic UC47

The Department for Work and Pensions have developed a more streamlined process for landlords to request a managed payment to landlord APA (Alternative Payment Arrangement) via gov.co.uk.

This is an online process that will replace different versions of the UC47 forms.

Landlords who rent to tenants in receipt of Universal Credit are being invited to take part in some trial sessions and give feedback on the new electronic service.

Landlords and Letting agents selected for the trial will be able to use the service immediately. The group will consist of Landlords with various portfolio sizes and have experience using the current process for applying for a direct payment or rent arrears deductions.
